Weekend Winnings and WSOP
Some choose to spend their weekends off boozing and sleeping. Others (probably you) choose to play poker. Now it doesn’t quite seem fair that the former are usually chastised with a brutal hangover and the later, rewarded with over $13,000 in prize pools to share in here at Carbon Poker!
The past few days saw 5 tournaments take place and congratulations must go to the winners; NimmZw0, RRR1978, shomy21, evolutions and KjonsAngeL61 who won the Ladies only Holdem Tournament. Well done guys and girls, enjoy your share of that cash.
The weekend may now be over but the poker action is far from it. Today brought with it the American Championship and a $600 win for willimantic. Well done!
With one third of the summer champs tournament already gone, it won’t be long until the tournament of champions is upon us and that $15,000 jackpot looms above us, ready to shower the victorious in a sweet rain of cash.
Don’t forget that the Tournament of Champion’s features unique chips stacks based upon leader board position so make sure you get in on as many games to maximise your chances at the jackpot!

The next seven days will really see the action heat up with six events playing through various stages each day. As expected the pros have turned out in force, game #8 seeing some tough play with Brunson, Elezra, Gus Hansen and Oppenheim all sitting at the one table. The current prize pool sits a little over $33.5 million after 17 of the 55 events.
